Dr. Olivier Aubert is a 33-year-old Nephrologist at the Department of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at Necker Hospital in Paris, France. He joined the Paris Transplant Group in 2012.
He defended his M.D in 2014 and obtained the Resident Award of Paris Hospitals. He also defended his PhD in biostatistics and epidemiology in 2017 in the Paris Translational Research Center for Organ Transplantation. As a part of his PhD, he has done a one-year fellowship in the Alberta Transplant Applied Genomics Center, Edmonton, Canada with Dr. Philip Halloran. His research interest focuses on the transplantation using kidneys from expanded criteria donors, antibody-mediated rejection of kidney allografts and the relationship with graft histological lesions, molecular phenotype, and allograft outcome. In his team, they developed a new populational approach of extremely well phenotyped cohorts that has been extended to hearts and lung transplants.
