Live Studio

A newsroom style live format, showcasing several ESOT events and providing a platform where we heard from some of the leading experts involved in this year’s Congress. The ESOT Live Studio is where the latest science and education exchange took place and were broadcasted to all Congress delegates through ESOT’s Virtual Platform.

Description:

This session provided an introduction to the live studio programme, encompassing the timings and formats of each session across the Congress. It also featured Q&A sessions with key Congress leads, including Umberto Cillo and Luciano Potena, on their thoughts and aspirations for the Congress. In addition, we heard from a patient on their hopes for the future of transplantation and collaboration with ESOT.

 Description:

This session included a panel discussion with members of the ESOT Patient Inclusion Initiative group, which included a presentation of the ESOT ETPO alliance and the way they are bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and transplant patients, as well as an update on the achievements and activities the group to date.

Transplant International (TI) presents: Moderated poster session - 13:15 - 14:20 (CEST)

Description:

This session included an interview with four poster presenters who had been carefully selected for publication. The presenters shared a summary of the exciting contributions they are bringing to the field of organ transplantation as well as a brief Q&A session where we found out more about their work. In addition to this, there were exclusive interviews with TI editorial board members, Thierry Berney and Maria Irene Bellini , who provided insight into what they were looking for from each of the presenters.
