Precision Meets Practice: Ultrasound & Pathology Workshops

This year’s ESOT Congress 2025 in London brings an exciting trio of Ultrasound and Pathology Workshops that promise to blend hands-on practice, expert mentoring, and cutting-edge imaging techniques. Whether you are a clinician, pathologist, radiologist, or researcher involved in transplant programmes, these interactive sessions will sharpen your procedural skills and deepen your understanding of rejection diagnostics.

Each 90-minute workshop offers an unparalleled opportunity to perform ultrasound-guided biopsies on synthetic organ models - pancreas, kidney, or liver - under the supervision of experienced radiologists. You will also gain insights into advanced imaging tools like CEUS and FibroScan, followed by a guided histopathological discussion led by senior pathologists focusing on rejection patterns and the BANFF scoring system.

With a limited capacity of just 25 participants per session, early booking is highly recommended. The workshops are priced at 50 EUR each and are scheduled on 30 June and 1 July.

Workshop Schedule:

  • Pancreas Workshop – Monday, 30 June | 15:30–17:00

  • Kidney Workshop – Monday, 30 June | 17:45–19:15

  • Liver Workshop – Tuesday, 1 July | 15:30–17:00

Don’t miss this chance to advance your diagnostic and interventional skills in a highly practical, immersive setting.
