The ESOT Congress 2023 will mark the 21st edition of the meeting.
First held in 1983 in Zurich, Switzerland, the congress has continued to motivate and inspire countless individuals for almost four decades.
20th ESOT Congress, 29 Aug – 1 Sept 2021
The 20th edition of the ESOT Congress was our first hybrid meeting, taking place both in-person at the MiCo Convention Centre in Milan, Italy, as well as online for thousands of participants across the globe.
This hybrid meeting required novel technologies, creative imagination and tremendous collaboration.
Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the congress featured the latest research and innovation from prominent scientists and physicians, offering attendees a unique opportunity to connect science with medicine. Participants attended onsite and online from over 70 different countries, providing networking opportunities on a truly global scale.
However, the 2021 congress journey did not end in September. We encourage the transplantation community to continuing using our platform to revisit sessions on-demand and join ESOT in the development of our vision for equitable and sustainable transplantation in Europe and beyond!
