AWARDS

ESOT Leonardo Da Vinci Transplant Research Innovation Award

The Leonardo Da Vinci Transplant Research Innovation Award is the most prestigious scientific award at the ESOT Congress, stimulating an unprecedented and innovative approach to research. There are two winners of this award; one for clinical research and one for basic or translational science.

Prior to the congress, eight outstanding contributions are selected from all of the scientific abstracts submitted to the meeting; four of which represented to clinical research and four dedicated to basic or translational science. The lead authors of all eight submissions will receive free registration to the congress.

After abstract presentations, held on Monday during plenary session, winners will be selected after joint votes of jury and ESOT Congress 2021 delegates voting via app.

During the Closing Plenary, one winner from each category will be announced and presented the award, as well as a 10,000 EUR financial prize and an invitation to submit a peer reviewed article in Transplant International.
